Armed Forces Covenant

Our commitment to those who serve, have served, and their families — treated with the fairness and respect they deserve.

The Covenant

What is the Armed Forces Covenant?

To those who proudly protect our nation, who do so with honour, courage, and commitment, the Armed Forces Covenant is the nation's commitment to you.

It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.

Those who serve in the Armed Forces, whether Regular or Reserve, those who have served in the past, and their families, should face no disadvantage compared to other citizens.

Easton's Training is proud to uphold the Armed Forces Covenant and to stand behind every man and woman who has dedicated their life to the service of this country.

Recognition Scheme

The Employer Recognition Scheme

The Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) acknowledges employers who have provided exceptional support to the armed forces community and defence by going above and beyond their covenant pledges.

Through a three-tier approach of Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards, the scheme recognises the different levels of commitment provided by employers. This allows the Ministry of Defence to publicly thank and honour those organisations for their support.

You can nominate yourself for a Bronze award. Silver and Gold awards are bestowed upon organisations meeting specific criteria set by the Ministry of Defence.

Silver

Awarded to employers who actively demonstrate support for the armed forces community — evidenced through proactive employment policies and meaningful engagement beyond the initial pledge.

Gold

The highest tier, awarded to employers who champion and advocate for the armed forces community — demonstrating sustained, exceptional commitment that actively encourages others to support defence.
